Situated in a designated area of outstanding beauty on the banks of the River Lynher, Notter Mill Country Park holds a David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award and is a haven for wild flowers, birds, including woodpeckers, kingfishers, herons, buzzards, jays and owls as well as native animals such as foxes, badgers, deer and squirrels.

The Park offers a variety of activities for the enjoyment of guests including:

  • a heated outdoor swimming pool (from Whitsun week to mid September) with sunbathing terrace from which parents can keep a watchful eye on their children in the pool

The Notter Bridge Inn (300 metres from the Park) offers a selection of fine ales and has an excellent reputation for good food. Local amenities include pubs and restaurants, a garage and supermarket.

The Park is within half a mile of the A38 providing fast access to Plymouth and to the whole of South West and a wide range of leaflets for local attractions is available at reception.
