Family Orientated @ Notter Mill
It is well known that Cornwall is a fantastic getaway for families with so many attractions and eateries nearby to Notter Mill.
Take a stroll around the picturesque fishing town of Looe. Here you play to your hearts content in the traditional arcade or take a boat trip to Looe Island. Looe beach is also a favourite with families, the sands great for sandcastle building and the water perfect for a paddle. Indulge yourself with locally sourced delicious fish and chips at Kelly’s or visit one of the many pasty outlets and other gift shops in the typical Cornish ‘Lanes’ of Looe central town.
The Eden project is but a 45 minute drive with activities for all the family to enjoy and of course those very special Biomes.
Let’s not forget about one of Cornwall’s main attractions, golden sandy beaches. Whitsand bay is very close to us at Notter Mill and relatively untouched. Having sampled many of Cornwall’s beaches we can tell you from experience that you need go no further. The beaches are quiet, some secluded but also some with refreshments. When the swell is right there is also a chance for a spot of surfing. Ask us and we can point you in the right direction!
Back at Notter mill we have 15 acres of land to explore with plenty of wildlife to enjoy. You can take a walk through the conservation area or Hales wood or perhaps a game of tennis on our all weather court.
We also have a fantastic childrens play area for ages 3-8 and a small sized football pitch for those budding premiership footballers.
Of course the jewel in our crown is the heated outdoor swimming pool which allows parents to sit and read or even join in the fun whilst the kids splash and splosh and enjoy the various floats and inflatables.
Wifi is also available for those who prefer to catch up on facebook, twitter or online games.
